I'm Daniel Savescu, currently studying Theatre Directing at UNATC - National University of Theatre and Cinematography "I.L. Caragiale" Bucharest, Romania.
I graduated from the "Ion Vidu" High School of Arts in Timisoara, Romania, Acting Department.
I stand for a socially and politically theatre and I fight for the rights of marginalized, oppressed and queer communities.

In 2024, I directed the performance Ogres as part of PRIDE TM produced by Identity.Education in Timisoara, Romania. The performance portrays the ways in which abuse, harassment or oppression impacts the LGBTQIA+ community, based on real events from France, Romania, Bulgaria, the United States, South Korea, South Africa, Uganda, Cameroon, Brazil, Iran and Russia.

In 2022, I made my debut as a film director with the short film Yes mom, your son is gay.
The short film won the Jury Prize at the SUPER Festival in Romania, won an award in 2023 at the Student World Impact Film Festival in the U.S., and was officially selected in 2024 for Art200 – Queer Culture Festival, Romania. In 2025 it was selected in PRIDE TM organized by Identity.Education in Timisoara, Romania and Underground Festival from Romania.

In 2023, I founded INEFABIL Film and Theatre Festival in Romania, an experimental and independent festival dedicated to young artists, financed by our own funds and donations, with free entry. The festival was created out of the need to make young artists at the beginning.
